Why Ecolint?
Choosing a school – especially in the Geneva area - can be quite bewildering, with many establishments seeming to offer similar academic programmes, excellent extra-curricular opportunities and modern facilities. We believe that what sets us apart – and why visitors from the Council for International Schools recently underlined "the unique nature of Ecolint, a school whose impressive history covers almost 100 years" - are the following key reasons:
Our programmes
A pioneer in child-centred education, Ecolint responds to the needs of every student, irrespective of their learning needs.
Results and guidance
Thanks to the quality of our teaching and to the support we offer, our students produce exceptional exam results. Our Guidance departments accompany them towards this success and in their university or professional choices.
Leadership & Governance
The International School of Geneva is a not-for-profit Foundation established under Swiss law. Its manner of governance is laid down in a Charter and Regulations approved by the Federal Department of Home affairs. Managed by a Governing Board, the school is composed of the following entities and bodies.
Extra-Curricular Activities
With our rich and varied programme of extra-curricular activities, your child will be able to explore his or her potential, develop and showcase new talents, and enjoy moments of leisure through learning. Many activities are open not only to Ecolint students, but also to families from the wider Geneva community. Ecolint students receive priority registration, with remaining places offered to external participants.
Our giving history
At Ecolint, philanthropy is deeply ingrained in our history and culture. From our founding in 1924, each generation of Ecolint students has benefited from the generosity of our community of donors: parents, alumni, corporations, foundations and friends.
