La Grande Boissière - Part-time - approximately 3 periods

The La Grande Boissière (LGB) Campus is located in the heart of Geneva and combines 18th-century buildings with state-of-the-art STEM and arts facilities. This bilingual (French and English) campus welcomes nearly 1,900 students in primary, middle, and high school. Our unique Universal Learning program, developed in collaboration with UNESCO's International Bureau of Education, aims to ground learning in a deep conceptual understanding and assessment of global Ecolint competencies, ensuring that the learning outcome has a positive social impact.

Your role and responsibilities

Teaching

  • Teach Brazilian Portuguese at various levels.
  • Inspire students through a variety of creative and differentiated teaching styles, tailored to their needs (individual or small groups).
  • Ensure student progress.
  • Prepare students for internal and official assessments as needed.

 

Academic Assessment and Monitoring

  • Complete assessment forms twice a year.
  • Ensure smooth and regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
  • Actively collaborate with the WLP department and participate in department meetings once or twice a year.

 

Who we are looking for

You are a passionate language teaching professional who will thrive in this role if you:

  • Have a perfect command of Brazilian Portuguese (native speaker or C2 level).
  • Have solid experience teaching Brazilian Portuguese to diverse audiences (children and teenagers).
  • Are able to work fluently in French and English in a multicultural environment.
  • Have excellent organizational skills to manage separate academic programs.
