‘Quintessential International College’ Counsellor Ellyn Taylor Levin Wins Award

Hundreds of students have found themselves studying their desired courses at their preferred university, thanks in no small part to the guidance of Ellyn Taylor Levin. A University Guidance Counsellor at La Grande Boissière, Ellyn has been with Ecolint for over two decades. She has recently received the Peter Hauet Lifetime Achievement Award for her service to her profession by the International Association for College Admission Counseling (International ACAC).

Aside from her tireless support to budding young academics, Ellyn has also devoted herself to helping her colleagues. She organised the OACAC Counselor Bus Tour that offered hundreds of her fellow counsellors the opportunity to visit universities, learn about them, and later offer them as options to applicants. Ellyn also founded the Swiss group of university counsellors and has served on organisations such as International ACAC and the ECIS Guidance Committee.

The Peter Hauet Lifetime Achievement Award is International ACAC’s highest member tribute. It is presented to an individual who has performed outstanding services to International ACAC, the college counselling and admission profession and to the international college counselling community.

Join us in congratulating her for this magnificent achievement, her service to the school, and above all, to the students she guided.
