University & Career Guidance Counsellor

Founded in 1924, the International School of Geneva (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. Our 1,250 staff from all over the world work on our three campuses (La Grande Boissière and the Campus des Nations in Geneva, and La Châtaigneraie in the canton of Vaud).

At our 7 schools, our students benefit from an international education and bilingual supervision of the highest quality.

To fulfil our mission of "Educating students to be citizens of the world with the courage and ability to create together a just and joyful tomorrow", each member of staff can draw on our hundred years of experience, our constant desire to innovate, and our strong humanitarian values. Through our Ecolint Institute, we are committed to providing our staff with excellent training opportunities.

Campus des Nations is the most recent campus in the International School of Geneva Foundation. Located in the heart of Geneva’s international quarter, this campus has quickly established itself as an educationally pioneering school committed to putting student learning at the centre of all its activities. Campus des Nations is proud to be an International Baccalaureate World School. Our programmes are based on the IB’s ‘Learner Profile’, a set of ideals that inspire, motivate and focus the work of the school and help students to become more thoughtful, moral, cultured and caring. Fostering these qualities is at the heart of all we do. Campus des Nations is the smallest of the three campuses of the International School of Geneva. It opened in September 2005 and now has 680 students in the secondary school representing more than 90 nationalities.

We are seeking to appoint from August 2024 a University & Career Counsellor who will become part of our successful Secondary School. We are looking for someone who will be able to guide our Students from Year 10 to Year 13 on their future university or career path. Our students typically apply to multiple countries, with 40% applying to two or more countries. Around 65% apply to the UK, 10% to the USA, 30% to Canada, 40% to the Netherlands and the rest of Europe and 10% to Switzerland. Further information on matriculation data can be found in the school profile here. Students will need support and guidance from a counsellor who is familiar with applications within these geographical areas.
