- Main Allocation: 37.5% (6.75 h / 18 h) – IGCSE Physics (English)
- Option 1 (+29%): +5.25 h / 18 h – Swiss Federal Maturité Physics (French)
- Option 2 (+16.6%): +3 h / 18 h – MYP Science / Physics Year 9 (French)

Your role and responsibilities
- Teach IGCSE Physics for Year 10 and Year 11 in English.
- If bilingual in French: teach Swiss Federal Maturité Physics and/or MYP Science (Year 9) in French.
- Regularly assess student progress and communicate detailed reports to parents.
- Ensure curriculum entitlement and progression for all students.
- Work closely with department colleagues to develop teaching resources, assessment materials, and curriculum enrichment initiatives.
Candidate requirements
Qualifications and experience
- Appropriate degree and recognized teaching qualification for IGCSE Science.
- Proven experience working with lab technicians and integrating educational technology into teaching and laboratory activities.
- Excellent classroom management, organizational, and pedagogical skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, students, and parents.
Linguistic skills
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
- English-French bilingualism is a distinct advantage (required for the optional French-stream teaching allocation).
Personal attributes
- Passionate drive to achieve high standards for all students.
- Willingness to support enrichment activities (e.g., Extended Essay supervision, departmental field trips).
