Why this role is important:
As part of our commitment to multilingualism and the preservation of mother tongues, Campus des Nations is seeking a dynamic English language teacher. You will join the World Language Programme (WLP), whose mission is to support the learning of heart languages and promote linguistic diversity. Your role will be to create a stimulating environment where students can not only learn the language but also connect deeply with English culture.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver English literature support classes at the secondary level.
- Design interactive lessons that promote speaking, reading, and writing skills, while integrating cultural elements.
- Evaluate student progress and maintain regular communication with families and the program coordinator.
- Manage attendance and participate occasionally in language-related events (open houses, cultural celebrations).
Who we are looking for:
Skills and Experience
- Teaching degree or equivalent university qualification in languages.
- Proven experience teaching English to teenagers, ideally in an international context.
- Fluency in English (native speaker or C2 level). A good command of French is required for internal communication.
Personal Qualities
- Excellent teaching skills and a natural ability to connect with young people.
- Ability to work independently while also integrating into an international team.
- Flexibility, creativity, and enthusiasm for language teaching.
