Your role and responsibilities
Teaching and IB Diploma Preparation
- Teach Danish at various levels, including the IB ab initio program (2 periods) and non-IB language and culture courses (4 periods).
- Inspire students through a variety of creative and differentiated teaching styles, tailored to their needs (individual or small groups).
- Ensure academic progression to meet the requirements of the International Baccalaureate (IB) for students at the end of their studies.
- Prepare students for official assessments, including the IB Final Oral Examination.
Academic Assessment and monitoring
- Design and administer regular assessments (summative and formative) for all grade levels.
- Record grades and progress comments in the school's computer system.
- Ensure smooth and regular communication with parents regarding student progress.
- Actively collaborate with the WLP department and participate in coordination meetings.
Who are looking for
You are a passionate language teaching professional who will thrive in this role if you:
- Are native or C2 level fluent in Danish.
- Have extensive experience teaching Danish to diverse audiences (children and teenagers).
- Possess excellent knowledge of the International Baccalaureate (IB) assessment criteria.
- Are flexible and willing to travel between our different campuses.
- Are able to work fluently in French and English in a multicultural environment.
- Possess excellent organizational skills to manage separate academic programs.
