Summer Camps - Administrative Assistant (only for students)
Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. Foundation
SUMMER CAMPS - ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - (ONLY FOR STUDENTS)
Full-time: the role is 100% (40 hours per week) for up to 2 weeks in Spring, 5 weeks in July and 2 weeks in August (9 weeks work in total). Specific working times will depend on specific activities and availability of successful candidates.
These roles are part of the Foundation Camps programme.
Responsibilities:
- Manage calls and emails efficiently.
- Provide assistance to parents with registration, daily camp operations and general inquiries.
- Oversee daily attendance records for each camp and coordinate logistics for child pick-up/drop-off.
- Liaise with camps coordinators, the administrative team, and staff on an ad hoc basis.
- Multitask effectively and handle various administrative projects simultaneously.
Candidate requirements:
- ONLY FOR CURRENT STUDENTS
- Minimum age of 18 with proven experience working with children and young people( ideally in a school, holiday camp or equivalent setting).
- Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively as a team to handle a high volume of parent inquiries.
- Fluency in English and French, both oral and written
- Proficiency in ICT tools (Google Suite, registration platforms, etc.).
- Highly organized and tactful, with the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
- Qualifications in administration, education, or pedagogy are an asset but not mandatory.
- Holder of a valid Swiss work permit.

Job-holder can enroll his or her children in the Summer Camp programme free of charge (when they are working on site) if relevant.
