As on-call French-speaking substitute teachers, you play a vital role in maintaining our high educational standards. You will be responsible for creating a stimulating, supportive, and inquiry-based learning environment. You will design and lead engaging learning experiences, aligned with the Primary Years Programme framework, that foster the holistic development of each student.
Your role and responsibilities:
Substitute Positions
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, in accordance with the primary school curriculum.
- Foster a positive, caring, and stimulating classroom environment that supports students' social and emotional development.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback, and support individual learning needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the overall development of the student.
- Manage the classroom, ensuring a safe and respectful learning environment.
Who we are looking for:
Skills and experience
- Flexibility and ability to accept work at short notice.
- Internationally recognized teaching qualification.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Effective classroom management skills to foster a safe and supportive learning environment.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diversity of needs and learning styles.
- Excellent command of French and English (minimum B1 level)

- Passion for teaching and inspiring young learners.
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability to meet the individual needs of students.
Collaborative spirit and openness to feedback.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in basic technologies and digital tools used in education, including familiarity with online learning platforms and interactive classroom tools.
