Why this role matters

 

The Secondary School offers a unique learning environment tailored to the academic and personal development needs of children aged 10 to 18 during the pivotal years of early adolescence. Your main mission will be to support the school psychologists in their daily work by providing a space for listening and prevention. This internship offers a valuable opportunity for a young psychologist to develop their clinical skills in an international and multidisciplinary setting.


Your role and responsibilities

Under the clinical supervision of school psychologists, you will perform the following tasks:

Clinical Support and Intervention

  • Provide a space for listening, mediation, and guidance to students (individually and in groups).
  • Provide direct support during crisis situations.
  • Participate in psychological assessments and classroom observations.

 

Prevention and Development

  • Conduct prevention activities on topics related to child protection and mental health.
  • Assist in setting up psychological follow-up outside of school.

 

Administrative Management

  • Support the written documentation of files and ensure their rigorous follow-up.
  • Participate in coordination with the learning support team and the administration.
     

Who we are looking for

Academic Profile

  • Young psychologist completing their Master's degree or who has recently completed their Master's degree in psychology.
  • A tripartite internship agreement is mandatory.
     

Skills and Qualities

  • Excellent listening, empathy, and psychosocial support skills.
  • Strong adaptability and interpersonal flexibility.
  • Responsiveness and availability for crisis management.
  • Absolute respect for professional ethics and confidentiality.
     

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English or French with excellent oral communication skills in the other language (Level C1).

 

Working Conditions

  • The contract covers the 37 weeks of the academic year (from August 24th, 2026 to June 25th, 2027).
  • 7 weeks of vacation (corresponding to school holidays).
  • Daily attendance is expected according to a schedule to be determined with the supervising psychologist.
