Why this role matters:
As a Netball Assistant Coach at Campus des Nations, you will play a key role in introducing and developing our students in this captivating team sport. By assisting the head coach, you will help create a dynamic, safe, and supportive learning environment. You will help young people develop their motor skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship—fundamental values upheld by Ecolint.
Your role and responsibilities:
- Assist the head coach in leading and conducting the weekly netball session on Wednesday afternoons.
- Propose dynamic, fun exercises adapted to the age and skill level of the participants.
- Participate in developing the annual activity plan with clear progression objectives for each age group.
- Opportunity to supervise and coach our teams during matches or sporting competitions.
- Active and open collaboration within the coaching team of the sports department.
Who we are looking for:
Skills and experience
- Active involvement in the netball community as a player and/or coach.
- Practical experience in teaching, leading, or coaching netball for young people (ages 11 to 18).
- Priority will be given to candidates with prior experience in a school setting or significant experience working with young people.
- Fluency in French and/or English.
Personal qualities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with children and teenagers in a multicultural context.
- Dynamism, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality, and commitment to the weekly Wednesday session.
