GYMNASTICS COACH /ASSISTANT COACH

Share your expertise and support the development, safety, and technical progress of our students and external participants within a dynamic and international gymnastics program.

Why this role matters:

As a Gymnastics Coach/Assistant Coach at the La Grande Boissière Campus, you play a key role in the motor development, self-confidence, and discipline of young people. Depending on the program's needs, you will lead sessions independently or assist the head coach. You will work with our students (midday "Kids" classes) as well as with children from outside the school in the late afternoon, conveying the values ​​of perseverance and the joy of sport that are so characteristic of Ecolint.

 

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Activity Planning & Student Supervision

  • Prepare, lead, and conduct Wednesday gymnastics training sessions, independently or in support of the head coach.
  • Supervise children (Kids classes and external classes) while fostering a positive, inclusive, and highly motivating team spirit.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and the proper use of facilities and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with the Extracurricular Activities (ECA) team and actively contribute to the development of the sport on campus.
  • Participate, as needed, in the organization of activities, demonstrations, or competitions related to the sports department.

 

Who we are looking for:

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in teaching, leading, or coaching artistic gymnastics.
  • A J+S Artistic Gymnastics diploma is required; an "Allround" profile is a major asset (or equivalent foreign qualifications).
  • Fluency in English or French (knowledge of both languages ​​is a significant advantage in our multicultural environment).


Personal Qualities

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with children, a strong sense of responsibility, and adaptability (ability to coach or assist).
  • Ability to communicate constructively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Reliability, dynamism, and punctuality to meet the specific Wednesday schedule.
