Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. La Grande Boissière (LGB) campus is centrally located in Geneva and blends a mix of 18th Century buildings with cutting edge STEM and Arts facilities. La Grande Boissière
FOOTBALL PITCH SUPERVISOR
Part-time: 10 hours per week (11:30-13:30 from Monday to Friday).
Job purpose:
- As a Football Pitch Supervisor, you play a key role in ensuring the safety, well-being, and good behavior of students during lunch breaks. You provide guidance during outdoor play, supporting the school’s educational values in a caring and multicultural environment.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise students during lunchtime.
- Ensure that students follow safety and behavioral rules on the football pitch, to maintain a respectful and safe environment.
- Promote positive behaviour and resolve minor conflicts peacefully.
- Monitor safety and well-being, alert the nurse if needed.
- Engage with students kindly and supportively.
- Collaborate with teachers and other school staff.
Personal requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with children aged 3 to 12 (school, childcare, coaching…).
- Comfortable working with children and attentive to their needs.
- Culturally aware, patient, and empathetic.
- Calm, takes initiative, and is a true team player.
- Ability to be firm yet flexible when managing groups of students on the pitch.
- Open to feedback and flexible in approach.
- Fluent in English or French, with a working knowledge of the other.
- Friendly, polite, and professional.
