Founded in 1924 as the world’s first international school and the birthplace of the International Baccalaureate, Ecolint holds a unique place in global education. Today, it serves around 4,300 students across three campuses, delivering a range of programmes in both English and French – including bilingual streams, within a diverse, internationally minded community. DIRECTOR GENERAL

The Director General is Ecolint’s Chief Executive and Educational Leader, responsible for overall strategy, leadership and management. Working closely with the Governing Board, they will ensure coherence across educational, financial and operational functions, while supporting the distinct identity of each campus and its programmes.

This demanding and high-profile role requires an inspirational, values-driven leader who can navigate a complex and evolving international education landscape. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to educational excellence and Ecolint’s founding values, alongside the ability to combine sound financial and organisational judgement with a clear focus on students, staff and community. Building trust, leading transparently and communicating with clarity and empathy will be essential.

The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of senior leadership in multicultural educational organisations, ideally within international schools. They will be an outstanding communicator, fluent in English and French, with the gravitas and intercultural sensitivity to inspire confidence among diverse stakeholders. A strong commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, safeguarding and student wellbeing is essential.
