Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. You will create a welcoming, well-structured environment where children can relax, enjoy healthy snacks, and engage in meaningful recreational activities. Your Role and Responsibilities:

Activity Planning & Student Supervision

  • Plan and deliver engaging, small-group activities such as arts and crafts, board games, and physical play.
  • Supervise children safely, managing student transitions between different after-school and extra-curricular activities.
  • Prepare daily snacks and Wednesday lunches in accordance with school guidelines.
  • Proactively manage student behavior in a fair, positive, and constructive manner.


Administration & Collaboration

  • Assist with essential administrative duties, including checking, tracking, and accounting for student hours of presence.
  • Actively participate and contribute ideas during team planning meetings.
  • Maintain clear, welcoming, and professional communication with parents and school staff.

 

Who we are looking for:

Skills and Experience

  • Education: Tertiary education, recognized qualifications, or equivalent proven experience in childcare or recreation.
  • Experience: Practical pedagogical experience working with primary school-aged children (ages 3–11).
  • Skills: Solid knowledge of First Aid is required. Confidence in using ICT tools and a willingness to learn school-specific systems is essential. Creative, artistic, or sports-oriented experience is a distinct asset.


Linguistic Skills

  • Fluency in French and/or English. Knowledge of additional languages is an asset.


Personal Attributes

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.
  • A positive attitude, a good sense of humor, and an openness to feedback and professional development.
