The Campus de La Grande Boissière (LGB) is located in the centre of Geneva and combines 18th century buildings with state-of-the-art STEM and artistic installations. This bilingual campus (French and English) welcomes nearly 1,900 students in primary, middle and secondary schools. Our unique universal learning programme, designed in collaboration with UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education, aims to anchor learning in a deep conceptual understanding and assessment of the global skills of Ecolint, to ensure that the learning outcome has a positive social impact.
Foundation
Assistant Printer Reprographic or Polygraph
Part-time - 50% - 2-month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities:
- Perfect knowledge of digital printing on Copier and Plotter, Adobe Indesign tools, Photoshop, Illustrator.
- Mastery of binding techniques such as Wiro, Fastback etc...
- Mastery of cutting on professional Cutter.
Qualifications required:
- Experience desired from 3 to 5 years minimum.
- Customer-oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills, courtesy and professionalism.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully within a team, with people at different levels within an organization and also independently.
- Fluency in English or French, both spoken and written, with good working knowledge and ability to communicate orally and in writing in the other language.
- Meticulous attention to detail and demonstrated organizational skills.
- Able to both plan ahead to manage the workflow and work under time pressure and manage urgent deadlines when needed.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and apply innovative solutions to improve processes and productivity.
- Able to work discreetly and handle highly confidential documents (exam papers, financial and legal documents, etc.)
- Knowledge of and ability to apply good health and safety procedures.
- Physically capable of lifting and transporting relatively heavy loads such as paper boxes and printed materials.
