Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. Our 1,250 staff from all over the world work on our three campuses (La Grande Boissière and Campus des Nations in Geneva, La Châtaigneraie in the canton of Vaud).

The La Grande Boissière (LGB) campus is located in the center of Geneva and mixes a mix of 18th century buildings with cutting-edge STEM and arts facilities. The bilingual campus (French and English) welcomes nearly 1,900 students from primary, middle and secondary schools. Our unique Universal Learning program, designed jointly with UNESCO's International Bureau of Education, aims to anchor learning in deep conceptual understanding and assessment of Ecolint's global skills, to ensure that students learning outcomes have a positive social impact.

VOLLEYBALL COACH

School year 2024-2025
Part-time – 4 hours per week
(Mondays and Wednesdays from 5pm to 7pm / tournaments on some weekends).

 

Responsibilities of the successful candidate:

  • Supervise and lead weekly volleyball training sessions for our students.
  • Build an annual activity schedule by age category with progression goals.
  • Offer dynamic sessions adapted to our students and the objectives of our sports program.
  • Supervise and coach our teams during sports competitions
  • Work and collaborate within a team of coaches.

     

Personal Requirements:

  • Active youth and sport diploma in  volleyball or equivalent foreign diplomas.
  • Practical experience with young people aged 11 to 18 in teaching and coaching volleyball.
  • Practical experience of women's volleyball with adolescent girls.
  • Priority will be given to candidates who have already worked in schools or have significant experience with a young audience.
  • French and/or English.
