Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. Campus des Nations is the most recent campus in the International School of Geneva Foundation. TUTOR
Part-time – 10 periods.
Responsibilities:
- Create semester, unit, and lesson plans targeting the mathematics and science skills for the Swiss Apprenticeship entrance examinations (EVA) using a provided curriculum outline.
- Design lessons and class materials that address students’ needs and leverage their strengths based on their Individualized Learning Plan (ILP).
- Design and deliver regular formative and summative assessments to track students’ attainment of previously taught mathematical and scientific concepts.
- Set work for students to complete at home and when working with ESP staff members during their ESP support lessons.
- Communicate students’ progress regularly with ESP staff, Head of Support Services, the Year 10 Student Support Group, parents, and all other stakeholders.
Personal requirements:
- Teaching certification in either Mathematics or Science.
- Experience in working with students with learning and social needs.
- Qualifications in working with students with Moderate to Profound Learning Needs preferred.
- Energy, patience, flexibility, and professionalism.
- Excellent level of French (native or fluent) and good working level of English.
