Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. Campus des Nations (Secondary)
Teacher of Theatre & Music
Part-time - 22 periods/week (one-year appointment - Sabbatical)
Responsibilities
- Teach both IBO Diploma Theatre curriculum and Middle Years Programme Music and Drama.
- The successful applicant will have a recognized teaching qualification at graduate or postgraduate level, be a proficient musician, and have experience in teaching both music and drama at middle years and/or secondary level.
- They will be used to working in teams, as some of their classes will be shared with a colleague.
- The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate an ability to plan, deliver and evaluate music and drama lessons which stimulate and motivate students.
- Knowledge or experience in technical theatre would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of MYP Drama and Diploma Theatre a distinct advantage
- Experience of working in a highly diverse educational environment and being able to use this to the advantage of teaching and learning.
- Google Level 1 requirement
Candidates requirements
- Degree and teaching qualifications equivalent to PGCE
- Proficiency in English (C2 level or equivalent) with the ability to speak French (B1 level or equivalent)
