TEACHER OF FINNISH
Part-time – 2 hours per week in our World Language Programme (WLP).
Job purpose:
- We are looking for an enthusiastic Finnish Teacher for our WLP programme. The post holder will be a passionate and dynamic teacher, able to inspire students through a variety of creative teaching styles. The post holder is reporting to the WLP Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Finnish as a foreign or native language to all levels
- Attend regular Department meetings
- Regularly assess the progress of students, record and report those results to parents
Personal requirements:
Professional experience required:
- Strong experience of teaching Finnish
- Experience working for an international school would be an asset
Personal attributes required:
- Native proficiency in Finnish
- Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
- Passionate about teaching and their subject area
- Ability to work in French and English
- Ensure curriculum is accessible to all students in line with our inclusive mission
- Good communication skills with colleagues and parents.
