Romanian teacher
Part-time: 3 periods in the World Language programme
We are looking for an enthusiastic Romanian Teacher for our WLP programme. The post holder will be a passionate and dynamic teacher, able to inspire students through a variety of creative teaching styles, teaching Romanian IB
Reporting line
The post holder is reporting to the WLP Coordinator
Responsibilities
- To teach Romanian as a foreign or native language to all levels including IB in the WLP programme
- To attend regular Department meetings
- To regularly assess the progress of students and record and report those results to parents
Candidates requirements
Professional experience required:
- have a strong experience of teaching Romanian to MYP, DP and IB students
- have experience of working in an international school
Personal attributes required:
- native or near-native proficiency in Romanian;
- excellent classroom management and organisational skills;
- be able to manage resources efficiently so that teaching and learning is effectively supported;
- have an ability to work in French and English;
- ensure curriculum entitlement and progression is achieved for all students;
- good communication skills with colleagues and parents.
