Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. Our 1,250 staff from all over the world work on our three campuses (La Grande Boissière and Campus des Nations in Geneva, La Châtaigneraie in the canton of Vaud).

Campus des Nations (Secondary)
Librarian (40 hours per week over 40 weeks, the equivalent of 85%)
Responsabilités
- Travailler sur le projet Curriculum - Universal Learning Programme - en étroite collaboration avec les directrices adjointes
- Développer la collection (physique et électronique, en anglais et en français)
- Organiser le lieu ainsi que la collection d’ouvrages
- Appliquer la politique de catalogage (connaissance du catalogage RDA et du logiciel Mandarin, un plus)
- Mettre en œuvre la politique de prêt
- Aider les usagers à trouver, évaluer, citer et référencer l’information
- Contribuer à l'enseignement et à la promotion des compétences en matière d'information et de lecture
- Faire preuve d'innovation dans les programmes et les initiatives de la bibliothèque
- Recherches hebdomadaires et leçons de lectures pour toutes les classes
- Créer une atmosphère positive, chaleureuse et accueillante
- Contributions à la Newsletter
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches nécessaires au bon fonctionnement de la bibliothèque.
Exigences attendues des candidats
- Diplôme de bibliothécaire et d’éducation supérieure
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais
- Solides compétences en informatique
- Personnalité dynamique et enthousiaste
- Passion pour le partage des connaissances et ressources, en particulier en littérature jeunesse
- Volonté de tendre vers l'excellence
- Réel intérêt pour les élèves (âgés de 8 à 13 ans) et une attitude attentionnée et sensible envers eux
- Aptitude à travailler en autonomie aussi bien qu’en équipe dans un environnement animé
- Bonne communication avec les collègues, élèves et professeurs
