Full-time - 24 periods

Responsibilities:

  • The successful candidate will be able to provide differentiated and engaging training to multinational students in the Intermediate Education Program (IEP) and Diploma Program (DP) French courses of the International Baccalaureate, with a high degree of professionalism in teaching and assessment practices.
     

Candidate requirements:

  • Diploma and teaching qualifications
  • The ability to teach French as an Acquisition Language (FLE - Français Langue Étrangère) and French literature.
  • The successful candidate must be able to teach French to students of different levels and work enthusiastically in a team.
  • Experience in IBO Programmes d'Éducation Intermédiaire (PEI - IBO Middle Years Programme) and IBO Programme du Diplôme (PD - IBO Diploma Programme) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to teach Spanish or German will be a distinct advantage.
  • Interest in and commitment to holistic education.
  • Dedicated to the pastoral well-being of students
  • Able to create interesting and interactive lessons examining international French culture in all its forms.
  • Able to promote the values of the International School of Geneva and foster intercultural learning and global citizenship.
  • Google Educator Level 1 or equivalent is desirable
  • Level B1 English (minimum)
