Founded in 1924, the Ecole Internationale de Genève (Ecolint) welcomes 4,500 students aged 3 to 18, representing more than 130 nationalities. La Grande Boissière (LGB) campus is centrally located in Geneva and blends a mix of 18th Century buildings with cutting edge STEM and Arts facilities. The bilingual (French and English) campus is home to close to 1,900 students across the Primary, Middle and Secondary Schools. Our unique Universal Learning Programme, co-designed with UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education, seeks to anchor learning in deep conceptual understanding and the assessment of Ecolint’s global competences, to ensure that the outcome of learning makes some positive social impact.
La Grande Boissière (Primary)
After School Care Supervisor
Part-time – 18 hours
Responsibilities of the successful candidate:
- Plan and deliver small group activities in arts and crafts, board games, physical play etc.
- Prepare snacks and Wednesday lunch, supervise and transfer students from different activities, communication with parents and staff
- Proactive in problem solving and managing behaviour in a fair manner
- Assist with administrative tasks: checking and accounting for student hours of presence
- Participate and be proactive in planning meetings
Personal Requirements:
- Pedagogic experience working with primary age students
- First Aid knowledge
- Creative, artistic and sport orientated experience an asset
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Positive attitude, good sense of humour and open to feedback
- Confident in use of ICT and willing to develop expertise necessary in a school setting
- Tertiary education or recognised qualifications and experience in the area (or equivalent)
- Fluent in French and/or English, additional languages an asset
