  • We are looking for an experienced and well-qualified teacher of Mathematics to join our department and help students to understand the world around them, preparing them for their future. We seek an enthusiastic and dynamic teacher, able to inspire students through a variety of creative teaching styles and someone with excellent classroom management and organizational skills.
  • To deliver engaging and focused Mathematics lessons in English to students across the age range, with a particular focus on Years 7 to 9, but also some classes in Years 10 to 13
  • To play an active part in the development of the curriculum, in particular in Years 7 to 9
  • To be willing to collaborate closely with colleagues
  • To regularly assess the progress of students; record and report those results to parents

Candidate requirements

  • Experience of teaching Mathematics to Year 7 to 9 students
  • Experience of teaching IGCSE and IB programmes an advantage
  • Good level of French an advantage, or willingness to develop competency
  • Interest in students and their well-being
  • Willingness to try new strategies in the classroom
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Confident use of technology
  • Desire to take part in the broader life of the school
