To complete our team, we are looking for a:

Teacher of Chess Extra-Curricular Activities 1 hour/ week
Part-time – 1  Hour(s)

Responsibilities

  • To teach our primary students chess within the after-school programme in a classroom setting
  • Demonstrate organisational and strong chess skills
  • Plan the weekly chess lesson and ability to make chess fun
  • Maintain a structured and organised learning environment
  • Encourage positive interpersonal interactions at all times
  • Communicate fluently in English and French

Candidate requirements

  • Excellent knowledge of chess and the pedagogy to teach primary students
  • A caring, sensitive attitude towards students
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent English and French speaker
