To complete our team, we are looking for a:
Teacher of Chess Extra-Curricular Activities 1 hour/ week
Part-time – 1 Hour(s)
Responsibilities
- To teach our primary students chess within the after-school programme in a classroom setting
- Demonstrate organisational and strong chess skills
- Plan the weekly chess lesson and ability to make chess fun
- Maintain a structured and organised learning environment
- Encourage positive interpersonal interactions at all times
- Communicate fluently in English and French
Candidate requirements
- Excellent knowledge of chess and the pedagogy to teach primary students
- A caring, sensitive attitude towards students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent English and French speaker
