The Campus La Châtaigneraie with its 1’585 students is set amidst the picturesque rolling farms and villages of Founex, overlooking Lake Geneva not far from the city. With a mix of historic and new buildings, the campus is split into a Primary and Secondary school. The international team of educators is devoted to supporting a diverse population of students.

Assistant Principal

Full-time

Responsibilities:

  • Pedagogical and pastoral leadership of Years 10 to 13, (roughly 600 students) including IBDP Coordination

  • Contribution to the development of the Secondary school through membership of the senior leadership team

  • 25 % teaching responsibility

Candidate requirements:

  • Good degree and teaching qualifications with passion for pedagogical innovation

  • Successful IB Diploma Programme leadership and teaching in an international school context

  • Track record in raising standards and challenging students and staff to be the best they can be

  • Vision for curriculum development in Years 10 and 11

  • Mother tongue (or equivalent) English or French with a good working knowledge of the other.
