Annual Giving Manager
Full-time – 40 Hour(s)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for planning, organizing and implementing a comprehensive and integrated annual giving program that impacts our Foundation’s development and the life of thousands of students
- Support the Development and Alumni Relations Director for designing and implementing effective communication campaigns for sustaining the mission of the department (fundraising and alumni relations)
- Expand and engage the Ecolint community to generate additional funds through annual giving (donations) from the wider Ecolint community (parents, staff, alumni, partners, etc.)
- Construct strategy for and lead execution of annual giving fundraising campaigns, events, and stewardship activities that create meaningful connections and build donor relationships between Ecolint and its more than 50,000 community members to secure and grow financial support
- Ensure strategic and effective communications with the Ecolint community members via tailored-made emails, group emails, e-newsletters, Web pages, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other vehicles as appropriate
- Develop and lead stewardship plan for donor recognition, including timely outreach, mailings, calls and events related to acknowledgement beyond the expected tax receipt. Engage Foundation staff, Foundation leadership and volunteer leadership in the execution as appropriate
- Ensure recording of donor engagement, appeals and event attendance in the Foundation CRM database, keeping meticulous records of gifts received, and provide monthly reports used to analyse fundraising strategies
Candidate requirements
- College degree / Bachelor in a relevant field
- Between 5-8 years of relevant work experience in philanthropy (annual giving/fundraising/communication)
- Experience working with CRM systems, ideally Salesforce
- Very good interpersonal skills with team-spirit
- Strong creative thinking skills, organized and detail-oriented
- Capable to manage a number of projects with minimum supervision at a time
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills in order to communicate the message of the Foundation so that people will make donations
- Language: ideally fluent in both English and French or at least in English with good business level in French
