Every year, our three campuses choose a project that will directly improve or add to our students’ learning environment. We solicit our parents, staff and alumni, so that these projects are brought to life over the summer holidays and students are able immediately to benefit from the changes.

Annual Fund projets for 2011-12 :

La Châtaigneraie: a fitness trail winding around our campus

The completion of the fitness trail requires the installation of the remaining 10 of the 12 exercise stations, and a further 1km of trail. The fitness trail will complement beautifully the indoor facilities provided by our Sports Centre and will add to our current outdoor equipment. Students will be able to make use of the trail both during scheduled lessons, and during their free time.
Target: CHF 80'000.

Campus des Nations: we’re concentrating on play both on stage and at break!
At the Saconnex site, the former gym will be transformed into a performing arts space by the addition of sound and lighting equipment. At Pregny, we are continuing to improve the outside play options.
Target: CHF 40'000.

There is also a "Foundation” Annual Fund not related to a specific campus. This
finances initiatives such as the student Study Day, the Annual Education Conference and the compilation of a new history of Ecolint.

The Annual Fund has brought the following projects to life since 2007:

 
2007-08:
  • Renovation of the Greek Theater (LGB)
  • Sports equipment for the Sports Centre (La Châtaigneraie)
  • Additional interactive white boards in classrooms (LGB et La Châtaigneraie)
  • An artist in residence (Campus des Nations)
2008-09:
  • Interactive white boards, data logging equipment and laptops (LGB)
  • A climbing wall (La Châtaigneraie)
  • Outdoor play structures at Pregny (Campus des Nations)
2009-10:
  • Theater and performance equipment, i.e. light, sound and action… (La Châtaigneraie)
  • Landscaping of the courtyard behind the Grand bâtiment (LGB)
  • Installation of differentiated rubbish bins to help us improve our recycling rates (LGB)
  • Outside seating for the Saconnex cafeteria (Campus des Nations)
  • Outside work stations with integrated tables and chairs at Pregny (Campus des Nations)
2010-11:
  • Construction of the first 2 exercises points on the campus’ fitness trail (La Châtaigneraie)
  • Installation of play equipment on the re-landscaped playground at Saconnex* (Campus des Nations)
  • Replacing of the much loved wooden train at Pregny* (Campus des Nations)
