David Woods, Campus Principal & Secondary School Principal
Our campus was built in 1908 and joined the Ecolint Foundation in 1971. It enjoys a magnificent countryside setting 20 km from Geneva, between the Léman lake and the Jura mountains. History and modernity coexist in our various buildings. These elements come together to form an ideal learning environment for our students.
Here we welcome 1,600 students aged 3 to 18 from all over the world to our English-French bilingual programmes. La Châtaigneraie is composed of a Primary School and a Secondary School. In the Primary School we offer the International Baccalaureate’s Primary Years Programme and in the Secondary School we offer IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), the IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma Programme and the Swiss maturité. On our campus exclusively, students can also complete a French-English bilingual Swiss Maturité secondary qualification.
