Why this event?

To complement the Arts Centre campaign, Ecolint is delighted to unveil the first of a series of annual exhibitions: “ecolintannuelle Open Art Exhibition”. We hope that the 2014 exhibition will be held in our brand new Arts Centre. Scheduled to open in September 2013, this magnificent building will bring a huge impetus to the development of creativity in all areas of the school community as well as externally.

Selection by the Committee

An independent Selection Committee chose 30 works on the basis of quality and originality. The members of the selection committee will did not know the identity of the artists; they have been given only the photo of each work, together with its dimensions, technique and title.

We are delighted that our first jury was made of figures well known on the Swiss arts scene:

Terms of Entry

  • Open to all artists who form part of the Ecolint school community without geographical restrictions. No entry fee. Submission is limited to 5 works per artist.
  • A member of the Ecolint school community is defined as a current or former parent or member of staff, student, or alumnus/a.
  • All works must be original, completed independently. Submission of incomplete work will not be accepted. All work must be for sale. No pricing change will be allowed after submission. No substitution of work selected will be accepted. 50% of the proceeds of sale will be allocated to Ecolint’s Arts Centre campaign and the remaining 50% to the artist.
  • You must provide a high-resolution photograph of your work in jpg format via the entry form (link below).
  • Work should be delivered by hand to the Manoir, Cologny, on Friday 20 April between 2pm and 7pm or – only for people living at more than 80 km from Geneva - shipped/delivered to the school before Thursday 19 April. The artist is responsible for any shipping/delivery charges. All details will be communicated to the selected artists.

The Foundation of the International School of Geneva, organiser of this exhibition, will under no circumstances be held liable for any damage to or destruction of work. Exhibition of work is entirely at the artist’s own risk.
