Accreditation

The Foundation’s current accreditation by CIS and MSA is due to continue until 2019.

To ensure that the International School of Geneva meets and maintains the standards expected in an exemplary international school, the Council of International Schools (CIS) and Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) undertake regular accreditation visits. Each of these accrediting agencies evaluate the school through an intensive self-study relative to criterias covering a range of topics, including school philosophy and objectives, organization, curriculum programmes, academic standards, extra-curricular activities, conditions of service and security, professional and curriculum development in all divisions of the school, guidance services and the assessment of student learning and performance. The Accreditation Team visits the school and the report makes recommendations for continuous improvements relative to the criterias established for this report.
