Ecolinks

ECOLINKS is the Service Learning Program of the International School of Geneva.

Ecolinks implements projects throughout the foundation, stressing the importance of the “Ongoing Learning Experience” that participants undergo during their work as service learners, and what they can take from their experiences to apply to various aspects of their everyday life. It also helps build links between international students and the local community, between campuses across the foundation, and of course between students, staff, parents and external participants in the Service Learning experience.

Concretely, ECOLINKS aims to:

Inspire each and every member of the ISG community to take part in Service Learning, locally and internationally.

  • Provide facilitated communication and management of projects across the Foundation by acting as a “hub” of useful information, advice and supervision.
  • Encourage initiative and originality in the undertaking of service learning activities, as well as student ownership of service projects
  • Enable all students regardless of language, academic program, and campus or year group to actively participate in making our world a better place.
