The Guidance Department for the Secondary students provides help and advice for university and career choices and the IB. All the students are related to Heads of Year or mentors who coordinate and address general issues. Mentors are in charge of ensuring the integration and general well-being of the students and they work in partnership with the parents and the teaching staff.
The school has a comprehensive university guidance service. Although the majority of our students attend universities in the UK, USA and Switzerland, we have experience of advising and helping students to gain acceptance to universities in many different countries.
On our three campuses, our students and their parents benefit from intensive guidance during their Secondary School years.
With a focus on career exploration and preparation for post-secondary educational opportunities, the guidance staff works with each student on their course choices, career possibilities, summer school opportunities, as well as university requirements and applications.
Students can participate in exam preparation sessions (SAT and IB Diploma Programme) and in university guidance workshops in support of their university applications as well as meeting frequently with guidance staff on an individual basis.
Furthermore all campuses receive visits from many university admissions representatives. Students can also participate in an ISG (International School of Geneva) led tour of British universities.
