Applications for September Entry

In October, prior to the year for which you have applied, you will receive an email from the Admissions Department. At that time the following must be sent to the admissions office: reports of the previous two school years (if not already sent); the first term report of the current school year, essay or drawing, up-to-date contact information, a recent photo and the proof of date of birth (photocopy) for applicants up to and including age 5 (child turning 5 on 31st August of desired entry year).

Applications received after the end of October must be complete, with reports, essay or drawing and contact information.

Applications for Entry During School Year

Applications can be considered for entry throughout the school year, depending on availability in the appropriate classes.

Applications need to be complete, with the reports of the previous two years, including the most recent report, essay or drawing, a recent photo and the proof of date of birth (photocopy) for applicants up to and including age 5 (child turning 5 on 31st August of desired entry year).

Places offered must be taken up by the date specified. No entries possible after May 1st.

Principal's Approval

The Principal may ask for further information or to see the student. The Principal decides if a student can be accepted. The file is then returned to Admissions and availability of places checked. If the Principal decides that a student cannot be accepted, they will advise the parents.

Offer of Places

We are usually able to start offering places in most years from April  (once the re-enrolment process is complete) to August.

Available places will be offered by telephone or e-mail. If the parents accept, a contract is sent that must be returned, usually within one week, to secure the place. The initial fees must then be paid (see Financial Conditions).

Availability of Places/Communication April to August

Places are offered as soon as possible but as most places are dependent on departures it is impossible to predict when and in many cases if places will become available.

During the summer some parents accept places elsewhere, which reduces the wait list. Parents who have accepted places at another school are asked to inform the admissions office immediately so that wait lists can be kept up to date.

Remaining on the List of Applications (September)

Towards the end of September, those who were not allocated a place, will be asked to indicate if they wish to maintain their application for entry during the school year or the following September. Please note that if you do not reply the application will be cancelled.
